About Tetsuo? Sure. What is it?

Do you know what he was doing over the past few days?

[He keeps his voice calm. Neutral. Emotionless, save for his curiosity]

[ Bluntly, ]

No. I have no idea. I was helping with the search for LACKEY.

[takethestairs]

[Oh. Uh.]

...has he told you what he's done?

[He speaks slowly, still patient with Minato. Look, he understands being busy. He understands juggling multiple responsibilities. But come on now!]

[ There's no use being patient with Minato; he wouldn't care even if you did get upset. ]

He went to Russia. And I'm telling you this because...

[He purses his lips together, and when he speaks, his voice is stiff and stilted]

...because he seems to have performed well. For the most part, anyway.

[ Obviously there's something more to that if he's going to sound that way while he says it. ]

Mr. Edgeworth, could you tell me what you're trying to get at?

[He doesn't like the way Minato worded that, but the only sign of his displeasure is a brief, momentary silence]

...what I'm "getting at" is that, so far, your plan is working. Tetsuo has been far more useful free than he would have been in a jail cell. However! I want to be certain that this isn't a fluke. I want to make sure that he's continuing to contribute to society, and won't become a menace again.
